Mealworms
Mealworms are an excellent source of protein for a wide variety of reptiles, amphibians, small animals and birds.
Mealworms are highly digestible, contain beneficial nutrients and allow your reptile to benefit from a diverse but complete diet. Our state-of-the-art facility enables us to provide you with healthy, bug-free mealworms.
Mealworm Care:
Keep 1000 mealworms in a large plastic container, make sure there are air holes in the top. A thick layer of oatmeal provides both a great bedding and food. In a refrigerator set at about 45 degree F they will go dormant so when you are ready to use them just take out the number you want to feed about 24 hours before feeding so that they are active.
Keeping mealworms for longer than two weeks? Simple, remove them from the refrigerator and let them become active again. Give them some potato on top of the bedding and let them feed for 24 hours. After 24 hours simply place them back in the refrigerator.
